Well, summer is officially here, sort of....what is with the weather? Simply Cakes is in full gear again this season with all the Sunday Markets at Sun Peaks Market, K'wese'ltken Market, and Blackwell Dairy Markets! I truly enjoy each market I attend as each of them have a community feel to them. The people I meet at each of them are amazing! As everyone knows, I do offer the free samples at the markets which is very well received 😉I do this so my customers can taste the quality of my product before they purchase. A cupcake not only has to look good, but it has to taste good as well! Now for the BIG Events of the season....June and July are jam packed with exciting events!
The first event is Indigenous Day at the Arbor on the Powow grounds on Friday June 21st from 4 pm to 10:30 pm. There will be many vendors and events happening that you won't want to miss it!
Join me down at Riverside Park for Canada Day from 10 am to 4 pm! I will have a booth set up featuring my classic chocolate and vanilla cupcakes all done to celebrate Canada. There will be an interactive table for the kids so they can decorate their own cupcakes!
On July 11th, you can shop the Simply Cakes pop up store at The Stir for all your favorites! I will have many options available so stop by and say hello!
Overlanders Day is on July 21st from 10 to 3 at Brock Recreation Center and Simply Cakes will be there! I will have all the kids favorite flavors!
Finally to round out the month, Simply Cakes be at the Downtown Night Market from 4 pm to 9 pm! Enjoy the beauty of the downtown core with lights and activities!
I will be posting each event as they approach to give more information. As a business owner in Kamloops, it gives me a great sense of pride to be involved in so many wonderful events! I take many strides to ensure I use as many environmentally products as possible! My packaging comes from a Vancouver company called Good Natured Products.
